Portland
International Airport (PDX):
Portland
is served by an excellent MAX Light Rail
system which goes directly from the airport terminal to the
downtown location of the Governor Hotel. The one way fare
is $1.60 and the route takes 40 minutes. At the self-service
kiosks by the baggage claim, ground floor exit from the airport
to the Max Rail system, select an "All Zones" ticket
for the Red Line to Center City. The stop for the Governor
Hotel is "Galleria/SW 10th Avenue." The trolley
lets you off at the corner of 10th and Morrison. The hotel
is one block north on Morrison at the corner of Alder. For

Shuttle
Service can
be arranged through "Blue
Star Airporters" (800-247-2272). One way fares
between PDX and the Governor Hotel are $12.
Taxis
are normally $30 one way, 20 minutes to cover the 10 miles
without traffic.
