SCA Santa Fe Visitor's Guide
With a diverse population of 70,000 people, Santa Fe is New Mexico's fourth largest city behind Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Rio Rancho. Situated at 7,000 feet in the foothills of the southern Rocky Mountains, it was founded between 1607 and 1610, making it the second oldest city as well as the highest and oldest capital in the U.S. In 1912, it officially achieved statehood and today its unique offerings of art, culture, and history draw more than 1 million visitors each year.

Getting Around
Unless you are staying at La Fonda Hotel or downtown, you will most likely need to rely on the Santa Fe bus lines or on local cabs.
Santa Fe Bus System, "Santa Fe Trails"
Fare: $1.00 per trip, $2.00 for a day pass. Cash only.
Route 2 is the route that runs from Cerrillos Road to downtown Santa Fe. It operates Monday through Friday from 6:00am – 10:00pm and on Saturday from 8:00am – 8:00pm, approximately every 15 minutes. 505/955-2001
